yooooooo! i’m aven, a chef, hospitality consultant, and systems thinker intent on using food as a gateway to better living.
from creating nourishing meal plans that suit the tastes and skills of home cooks and their families to providing short-term operational leadership for restaurants by developing menus, strengthening kitchen systems, and empowering teams to do their best work, my approach is centered on love : love for food, love for craftsmanship, and love for each other.
my work brings me across the world to restaurants, pop-up kitchens and event spaces, private homes and retreats where i help dream up and materialize food programs that balance creativity with thoughtful systems. sometimes that means developing a seasonal menu, training a team, streamlining prep systems, or stepping in as an executive chef during periods of growth or transition. other times, it means preparing an intimate meal that reminds people why gathering around a table matters.
i love arriving in unfamiliar places, learning their rhythms, and helping kitchens regain the clarity and confidence already dormant within them. my approach combines practical operational organization with the belief that people do their best work when they’re supported in ways that honor their unique strengths and ways of being.
through “hearth haven llc” i also work directly with individuals, families, and groups, offering private dining, cooking education, and celebratory feasts. across all of my projects, my goal remains the same : to transform hearths into havens, whether at home or at work, by kindling the spirit of love in the hearts and spaces where we find ourselves cooking.
